Peter
Crane was the first man outside the USA to run a five in a top fuel dragster.
He had much less success in the Hustler funny car which was a re-cycled version
of the first Gladiator AA/FA. |

Middle Competition Altereds used straight 6 Jaguar lumps and some of them had
full bodies. |

This car was an Outlaw Anglia before anyone had thought the name up - Alan O'Connor's Al's Gasser - still going strong I am very pleased to say. |

This L Modified Morris Minor (appropriately called Meanie Minor) featured a 1690cc Ford engine and, believe me, it could really motor. It was driven by District Nurse Hazel Wloszek although sometimes she let her husband Richard have a go. |
