The Cuss and Ashley team had previously campaigned a short wheelbase competition dragster. It therefore came as quite a surprise when they unveiled this beautiful state of the art rear engined dragster. |

It seems that all the teams were going the rear engined route, here is the latest offering from Team ReadSpeed. The car, which was built by Dennis Priddle, was appropriately named Le Patron as Jim Read was the driver. |
