Liz & Ollie, the pro comp altered of Liz and Ollie Burn, is seen here on the line in the spectator lane at Santa Pod Raceway.  The car was raced by Ollie, Liz had a top fuel dragster called The Lizard.

Liz & Ollie all fired up in the pits at Santa Pod.

Ollie Burn went on to campaign a Pro Comp funny car.  The altered went to Vic Hammond and became Mr Big - only with an injected lump at the moment but stay tuned!

Bo Bertilsson & Leif Holmgren's Berzerk was a beautiful car and very well turned out.  Tog from Eurodragster.com has confirmed my suspicion that this car was previously Keith Harvie's Dream Machine (click here to see a picture).

Berzerk again seen in the pits on a glorious day at Santa Pod.

Another view of Mike Hall's old car now called Headache and owned and driven by Norwegian Ludwig Björnstad, seen in the pits at the Pod.

Mr Big just got bigger!  This shot was taken at the October 1977 Winternationals meeting at Santa Pod.

The first of a series of pictures of Panic! which was one of my all-time favourite cars.  The Page team raced anywhere and everywhere and always gave ten tenths.  The car is seen in injected form in the pits at Snetterton.  My thanks to Mike O'Connell for providing the location of this shot.

Now with Wolfrace sponsorship and fitted with a blown engine which has just been fired up.

The car is seen on the strip at Blackbushe.

It looks as if the Wolfrace sponsorship has gone west as the car is now back in its familiar red and white paint and looking great.

Another shot of the car in the pits at Blackbushe.

Panic! again - can't have too much of a good thing I say.  Burning out in the spectator lane at Santa Pod.

My thanks to Tim Ingman for providing information on this car.  It was constructed by the Liz & Ollie team (of which Tim was a member) and the chassis was built in one day.  That sounds like a hard day's work to me!  In the background is Liz Burns' fueller The Lizard which had been painted yellow to appear in a TV advert.

Reg Hazelton burning out in his stretched Fiat Topolino bodied Thunderbird at Santa Pod.  Try and imagine the two blokes in the foreground aren't there - the trials of an amateur photographer!

Once again I am indebted to Anders Olsson who advises me that Vindicator was campaigned by Steinar Stolen from Norway and was sometimes raced with a Ford Mustang body as a funny car.  It is seen here burning out at Santa Pod.
